Dr.Astrit  Shatro since 2005 began to work at the Hydrometeorological Institute in the Academy of Science in Tirana.

After continuous transformation of the institute, today is working at the Geoscience Institute of the Polytechnic University of Tirana.

His science research field is focused on Hydrology.

He is specialized not only in surface runoff water but even in thermal water basins.

From 2005 onwards he also works as a lecturer university of Physic at the Polytechnic University of Tirana.

At the Hydrometeorological Institute, his main focus is research in the Hydrology field.
