After graduation in Theoretical Physics (1985) Mr. Fatos Hoxhaj was occupied in Quantum Mechanics before starting his career in Surface Hydrology and Coastal Waters Dynamics (PhD). He was a visiting scientist and research fellow at College de France (1994-1996), University of New England (1998), ICTP Trieste (2000-2002), Princeton University (2003-2004) and Delft University of Technology (2006) The focus of Mr. Hoxhaj's Research Interests is on understanding how climate drivers are projected into the Hydrology and Sea Dynamics. It includes storm-scale hydrologic flooding, parametric investigation into uncertainty of spatially hydrologic calculations, hydrologic approachl to a hydrodynamic storm surge, compounding coastal hydrodynamic modeling, interference between hydrologic processes and coastal dynamics, wave and tide interaction as a sign spiral eddies of nonlinear instability.
