ROUND TABLE (WORKSHOP)

The event in Tirana gathered representatives of the 3 GEO projects in Albania - BalkanGEONet, OBSERVE and IASON, as well the representatives of national Earth observation initiatives and programmes. The goal of the workshop was to summarize the experiences and achievements of the recent and on-going GEO activities in the country and to provide an insight into their benefits to the Albanian scientific community. Also the participants investigated the perspective of Albanian institutions in future GEO initiatives and the European research agenda.
