Dr.
Dr. Çomo studied the industrial chemistry at the Faculty of Natural Sciences (1994-1999) at the University of Tirana. During the years 2003-2005, he completed postgraduate studies on “Master in Processing of raw materials and treatment of industrial and urban discharges", at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana, as well as received his Ph.D, at the University of Tirana (2011-2015) in the field of analytical and environmental chemistry. From 1999 to 2008, he was a scientific researcher at the Hydrometeorological Institute. From 2010 to 2021 Mr. Çomo has been part of the Climate and Environment Department at the Institute of Geosciences and from 2021 onwards is part of the Meteorology Department of the Institute of Geosciences, Polytechnic University of Tirana. Operator at the national centre for forecast and monitoring of natural risks. The research interests are focused on analytical and environmental chemistry, meteorology and climate. Dr. Çomo conducts meteorological monitoring, environmental and climate studies. Dr. Çomo has conducted national and international research on surface water quality monitoring, environmental chemistry. Participation in national and international projects such as monitoring and conservation of Lake Ohrid, monitoring the quality of surface water in Albania, Med-Pol, Integrated Coastal Zones and the River Management System ADRICOSM-EXT, etc. Exercise of pedagogical activity in the Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering
