MSc Amarildo Shallas is a Cartographer working for the Department of Meteorology in IGEO.

He has finished bachelor degree in Geography in the University of Tirana during the period 2014 – 2017. Later he studied in Cartography and Geoinformatics, in Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, and graduated in 2020 with excellent results. His diploma thesis was about Developing Mathematical Base of the Maps with Python Programming Language.

He has worked for a brief period of time as a Specialist of the Department of Urban Development and Planning in the Municipality of Kolonja in 2020 and from February 2021 to April 2024 he worked as a GIS Analyst in Water Resources Management Agency mainly covering areas of research in GIS and developing web maps and desktop applications.
