Dr. Rama studied Physics Engineering at the Faculty of Mathematics Engineering and Physics Engineering at Polytechnic University of Tirana (2006 – 2011) with a Master in Science in Physics Engineering. Since completing his studies he was engaged in teaching part – time academic personnel at the Department of Physics Engineering up until 2021 when he started working at the Institute of Geosciences at the Polytechnic University of Tirana. During this period he was also employed as academic personnel at the Faculty of Natural Sciences at University “Eqrem Çabej” of Gjirokastra during the period 2016 – 2021 while he was also working on his PhD thesis on seismology. While working at the Department of Seismology at the Institute of Geosciences he also completed his PhD studies. He has been leading the Technical Team of Department of Seismology taking care of the seismic equipment and the Albanian Seismic Network. From 2021, he also fulfills the duty of Coordinator of the National Centre of Seismic Monitoring. His work and research has been focused in Seismic instrumentation and seismic software and systems. Mr. Rama has been part of trainings in the field of seismology (GFZ, 2020; CTBTO, 2022) and has gained knowledge he uses daily at his work at the Department of Seismology being an active member of this department. His field expertise has been put to use in many campaigns of the active projects of this Department.
